Virtual Energy Manager Online - Quick Reference
The layout of Virtual Energy Manager Online allows the user to choose the desired report, select the appropriate sites, and display results without changing pages and with minimum, if any, scrolling.
The page is divided into five parts:
- The Menu, located on the left of the screen.
- The Sight Selection area located in the top middle of the screen.
- The Selected Points box in the center of the screen
- The Channels - Traces box just below the Selected Points
- The Report Area on the right side of the screen which initially shows the Enerwise logo.
A brief description of each part is provided below. For more details, please see the respective topics.
Menu: The Menu lists the tools available for analyzing data using the Virtual Energy Manager. Each section has sub-sections that appear in gray when the section is expanded. By clicking on the title, the sub-sections will expand/condense. To select an item on the Menu, move the mouse over it until it appears in dark gray (you will also see an information box when the mouse is over a choice), then click the mouse. A selected section will appear in blue (in the above picture all menu options are expanded and "Interval" has been selected).
Site Selection: The Site Selection is the area of the screen where a user can determine which sites to analyze. This window has scroll bars on the bottom and side as necessary and can be scrolled through without the rest of the screen being affected. The Search Sites button at the top of the window can help find a specific site.
Selected Points: This window displays the already selected sites for analysis.
Channels - Traces: The Channels-Traces window lists the possible units of measure for each Site moved to the Selected Points window. This is also where Traces and Smoothing can be selected and where Threshold Selection and Spikes Selection are made when using analyzing with Thresholds.
Report Area: The Report area is the area in which graphs, tables or other information displays. At the bottom of the Report Area is a sub-section where date selection and format choices are made.
